Uh First of all, uh thank you so very much. Good morning. Good afternoon, good evening to all the attendees. Um uh Thanks for joining in.Um So today's session which we are focusing upon is on the topic of sales force, which is the future of emerging trends and technologies. Uh Before I begin, I just want to say uh the expectations today's session is more about uh to help people understand sales force from an production aspect. Uh I am not going to talk about anything technical or in a detail oriented manner. The session is very introductory. So let's just quickly get started and just try to understand what sales force is all about. So, uh as I said, my name is Achilles and I'm a founder of two truly global communities called Chief Force Wit and Hard Force Global. And uh I would just be discussing about sales force in today's aspect. Uh Before I go ahead and get started, I just want to take a pause and I want to thank all the sponsors for our today's event. Uh I want to thank especially women tech network team for organizing the conference and in times like these, we are able to connect from all across the globe.
Um So thank you so much to the entire team uh who has worked harder and Anna, who has been an inspiration to me in terms of helping me deliver this today's session. Uh Before I be talking further, I just want to talk about that. Uh Whatever I'll be discussing in today's session. Uh It will be more about um the pricing and the purchasing decisions. If there is anyone who is planning to implement sales force, uh Please go onto the website, check out the latest information available. There could be some information which is uh from, from those context aspect. So with that being said, uh I just want to give a quick walkthrough about my journey. Uh uh I'm an electrical engineer turned uh technology professional with an experience into sales force, which is my primary expertise. I'm also an MB, a student based out in Boston. Uh I have been a sales force coach and a mentor. Uh And I've mentored almost 1000 plus mentees global in the past 12 months and created many mentorship success stories. And for that very reason, I was featured by Salesforce for one of my mentorship success stories, uh which is what I've mentioned on the top right hand side of it.
Um So first of all, let's just try to discuss that why cloud is important in this point of time and the reasons behind that So firstly, when we talk about cloud uh cloud application services are the need of today. Uh because they are high in demand, there are various reasons behind post pandemic occupations that leverage cloud based services are expected to see an exponential increase of 14.7% over the next decade. Uh When we talk about cloud, uh it is primarily into three tiers which is platform as a service, software as a service infrastructure as a service. So when we talk about software as a service, there are various application products which are available products such as Sales force.com, Microsoft CRM Dynamics and SAP and er P and a lot many as well. So why Sales force.com is so popular? Why it is in demand? Uh So possibly I'll be talking about in, in a bit more detail. Uh So let's just try to go ahead and dive into that. So why I mean in today's point of time, I mean, when we talk about the cloud computing, uh cloud computing is like work from anywhere work remotely and what I am trying to do or going to refer to that, I mean, I'll just be diving into that.
So let's just first of all try to understand how we'll be scaling up the in the in the near future. Uh There used to be a point of time when internet was invented and cloud got into the technology platform and that uh gave chance to organizations such as Amazon and Google, which were born through internet. Uh and Cloud came into picture. Uh then there came a revolution and uh a cloud 2.0 was born wherein uh if you might remember almost a few years back uh when social media platforms such as Facebook, hi five and other social media platforms were invented with the advent of Cloud. Uh And then, I mean, when talk about today's point of time where we see fourth industrial evolution where data is in new oil or if I may say A I machine learning um uh artificial intelligence, uh I hope all of you might have heard of. I mean, we are talking every now and then uh automation cloud computing. So today's word is a cloud 3.0 wherein we talk about being virtual or, or hybrid wherein tools such as Slack Zoom um channels, chat video, IOT or maybe you can say platform such as hoping through which we are able to connect from all across the globe without any such hiccups as well from the comfort or uh or a home.
So which is what I would say, like work from anywhere we can work from anywhere I respect of any Java of your location. Uh So firstly, let's just try to understand what exactly sales force is and how I would be helping everyone to understand is I have a short video which I'll be playing. Uh So let's just quickly watch and I hope you'll be able to hear the sound as well. Yeah, so I hope all the attendees have enjoyed watching the video. So firstly, let's just try to understand why Salesforce is very much so in, in like popular in today's point of time in the cloud computing world. So Salesforce is ranked number 137 on the list of top 500 fortune brands. Uh when we talk about Salesforce, uh it is going to generate almost 4.2 million jobs in the next 3 to 5 years. 97 of the top 100 fortune brands are the customers of sales force. They are using sales force to manage their day to day operations. On an average when I talk about a US job market standpoint, uh sales force skills pay more than $70,000 which is a really great number two of the top 10 best jobs are the sales force specific and the number one tech skill paying more than 200,000 whopping dollars and customers and the sales force implementation partners are creating millions of jobs all around the globe.
Uh And which is like is the reason that we have so many jobs in the cloud computing space as well. So let's just quickly dive into what, what has been the story of Salesforce. Salesforce was founded back way back in 1999 by a person called uh Mr Ma Bee, who is the ex oracle uh employee uh it was started in 1999 and then salesforce launched the CRM in 2000, it went public in June 2004. And then they launched a platform called Trailhead in the, in the month of October 2014, uh which is when uh is the training and Gamification platform. And then very recently, I hope most of you have heard of a company called Slack. It is a confirmation of messaging application.
It was acquired and bought by sales force for a good $27.7 billion and has been one of the largest ever deal in the, in the, in the um I would say cloud computing space or A S A space. Uh No SSE has happened of this much shape and size. Uh So let's just try to look at the growth history of sales force if you might look at on the left hand side, uh at 2014, I mean sales force had a business revenue of $4.1 billion. And as you can see as the, I mean, as as the year passing by, it just kept on increasing. And uh what we anticipate is in the next five years, this revenue which we see as a growth forecast. 20 I mean, we are in 2021 which is close to $21.25 billion. It is just going to double almost close to $50. I mean uh $50 billion in, in by next five years. And on the right hand side, as, as you could see, there are various uh CRM uh I mean providers uh organizations just oracle Sap Microsoft. And you could see the exponential growth with sales forces. So sales force captures almost 99 19.5% of the market share in the CRM space. Uh and and that has been the strong growth engine behind sales.
So as I was talking to you about the future of sales force, so I DC, which is a global rating body has defined or coined a term called the Sales force economy, Sales force economy or uh sales force. As an ecosystem is going to generate 4.2 million jobs all across the world and which is going to generate 1.2 trillion uh business revenue. And that is going to happen all across the globe. If we look at a US standpoint, uh such countries such as us, Canada, Mexico and Brazil, I mean, uh the hottest burning bubbles and there is an opportunity and equal opportunities for everyone, irrespective of whatever experience background we are coming from, whether it could be a take or a non track.
Uh Let's just try to understand for a newbie perspective that uh how one can get support from sales force uh which is where we talk about Trailblazer community. And, and I got a very nice video uh which will just help you showcase that what exactly is all about. So let's just put you look up

Thank you so very much. I hope you've enjoyed the another video as such as such as showcased. So let's just firstly talk about uh how we are providing support or how sales force is providing support to help newbies upscale on sales force. So we have uh trailblazers like me in 11 million in number who are helping our people who are just beginning the journey to help out upscale you, you as such, we have almost 1300 plus uh community user groups all across the globe. Uh If we may say sales force has got a presence into almost 90 plus geographies. Uh And apart from it, if I might talk about, it has got almost 60,000 employee based sales force directly as a company. Uh If I talk about some quick roles where everyone can work, uh there could be roles to begin with, such as sales force administrator, developer, a consultant, a business analyst. And if someone is from a marketing and a sales background, you can also work into that. If there is somebody who is uh who is an entrepreneur or someone who has got a senior leadership experience, we can also work into roles such as program manager, product manager, uh uh uh program manager, product manager and uh the other roles in the product management as well aspects as product owner.
Uh When I quickly talk about how to start learning sales force. So these are the four touch points. I have uh we have a platform called Trailhead, which is a Gamification platform wherein you can do some hands on skills, earn badges, earn super badges. There's a platform called Focus on Force which is known in among the newbies. Uh And you can sign up for free completely for salesforce environment. Uh And we have a common youtube channel called Apex Hours, which is a very popular channel in salesforce newbies. So I would, I would focus on these are the four key pillars from where you can learn sales force. Has also got a strong mentorship channel platform uh which is called Trailblazer mentorship program and mentorship central. And there is a very great initiative called talent tracker uh which is uh very much known in the mentorship space as well. And with that being said, as a, as a, as a, as a as this session, as I offered, uh I hope you really had enjoyed. And as part of this session, I'm just offering a bonus and bonus, which is, it's a, it's a chance to earn a sales force coaching and mentoring for free completely. Uh And with that being said, I mean, how we are just helping out? Uh First of all, I just want to thank uh women tech network team for uh allowing us giving an opportunity to be as community partners as well.
So my community forces such as She Force and Hard Force global are also partnering with uniting 100,000 women in the tech space. With that being said, I have some information about these communities which people can take a look at. And if someone wants to connect with me, I mean, I just would like to uh hold it over here and uh I'll stop the screen share and uh people can utilize this as to uh scan, look at it and connect with me on linkedin and Twitter. And I'll just quickly stop the screen share and let's just quickly look at the other aspect and, and I think we are just left with a very short span of time. So um all I would just like to say if anyone has uh any quick questions, uh I hope you have enjoyed the presentation. So as uh Graciela, I hope you talked about what are the future trends we might want to look for. So I would say technology such as A I machine learning cloud computing, uh analytics, these are the future of today and maybe say you can say AWS as well. So I hope that answers your question because in today's point of time, we are in the world of A I machine learning and other uh aspects and data is in new oil. So we need those products and applications to visualize that.
Um So, um uh angel, I would say uh I'm, I'm actually over here in, in the process of uh sharing the information. But I would say please uh please connect with me uh in terms of on linkedin and uh other places, platforms. Uh I'll be more than happy to share more information. Um So, Andy, as all I would say, uh please free to connect with me on linkedin. Uh I'm in the process of planning to organize um a group coaching and mentoring session for all the sales force newbies. And you can go on to hop and you can go on to my hop in profile.
