What you can expect when joining the team

At the heart of the Human Resources department, you will utilize your organizational skills, critical thinking, and ability to influence to ensure the smooth running of the department's broad activities, identify opportunities, and participate in the continuous improvement of processes in a constantly evolving and growing environment. You will be the glue that ensures the coherence and effectiveness of the department's initiatives and operations


Your daily life

In your day to day, you will be led to:

  • Act as the facilitator for the department's operations;
  • Take charge of the integrated calendar of the department's activities and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure its execution and evolution over time;
  • Maintain up-to-date employee information in the BambooHR HRIS (hiring, updates, changes, etc.);
  • Make necessary updates in other HR tools (Leapsome, Monday, etc.) to ensure compliance with company programs and policies;
  • Develop and implement various procedures to ensure flawless execution of the department's operations (written procedures, tracking tables, etc.);
  • Coordinate employee onboarding activities in collaboration with the leadership team (preparation for arrivals, welcome and orientation, etc.);
  • Analyze the results of the integration survey (30-60-90 days) and propose an action plan when required;
  • Conduct informational meetings on employee benefits and coordinate with the finance department as needed;
  • Monitor absences (parental leave, disability, gradual return to work, etc.) and communicate with various stakeholders (leadership, finance, HR business partners);
  • Manage requests via the HR ticket management system, conduct research on policy, payroll questions, etc. as needed;
  • Record training and related documentation in accordance with our provincial legal obligations in collaboration with the Finance team;
  • Maintain and analyze HR KPIs;
  • Identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions;
  • Keep departmental policies and documents up to date and evolving;
  • Participate in the department's communications in collaboration with the human resources management team;
  • Support other HR team members in their daily activities and special projects;
  • Evolve your responsibilities according to the company's needs to increase the added value of your functions and your professional development opportunities.

Job requirements

Your profile

Are you a bright and meticulous HR professional who believes in the principle that "execution is everything"? Are you known for your ability to spot improvement opportunities, analyze them, and act? Are you looking for an opportunity to engage with various aspects of human resources and have a direct impact on the efficiency of our department in a rapidly growing environment? The sky is the limit! If you have:

  • At least two years of experience in similar functions (asset);
  • A bachelor's degree in industrial relations or another related field;
  • An action-oriented mindset that knows how to identify priorities and take initiative;
  • The ability to work independently while paying excellent attention to detail;
  • A high degree of professionalism and discretion;
  • Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills based on respect and collaboration;
  • A solution-oriented and customer service-focused approach;
  • The capacity to work from the Montreal office approximately once a week;
  • Since you will be regularly interacting with English-speaking colleagues located outside of Québec, proficiency in both English and French (spoken, written, and read) is required.
