New Relic is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Corporate FP&A team! This role will report to the FP&A Senior Director and will be a key partner to the Corporate team. The successful candidate will be a fast learner with high attention to detail, structured in their approach and capable of managing a newly formed team. They will be able to manage multiple assignments/requests/processes concurrently, prioritizing accordingly, and delivering timely results. They will be able to collaborate effectively with internal end-users and cross-functional teams with a combination of financial skills and analytical tool skills, while guiding their team to deliver timely results. This is an exciting opportunity that offers visibility across the entire FP&A team and supports a team that functions as a rotational program.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage a newly formed Corporate team based in Bangalore, which is planned to consist of four members. Develop and implement structured approaches to manage day-to-day operations and high-priority projects.
- Foster a high-performing team environment, drive continuous development through mentorship, and effectively manage the team to support a rotational program.
- Proactively identify areas for business improvement and provide data-driven arguments to support informed decisions.
- Independently manage tasks in a fast-paced environment with a high level of precision, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to deadlines. Ensure clear communication between the India and US team.
- Prepare succinct and clear executive overviews that simplify complex topics, often under time constraints.
- Seek opportunities for operational improvement across the organization.
This role requires
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 10+ years of finance experience in the technology sector, specifically SaaS
- 4-6 years people management experience desired
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint or Google equivalents
- Experience with tools such as Anaplan/Forecasting tool, Salesforce, Tableau, Zuora, Basic SQL or other data query skills
- Excellent verbal, analytical, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with exemplary organizational skills. Must possess a “can do” attitude.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully executing against tight deadlines, with a collaborative mind-set.
- Must be able to skillfully prioritize and manage concurrent projects and issues.
- Experience in working with cross-functional/cross-departmental and virtual teams.
