We are looking for a Growth AE to join our extraordinary product-led growth sales team and help us drive new account growth. This strategic role has been built to help us develop the next wave of New Relic customers. You will be working to win over greenfield accounts by developing a relationship as a trusted adviser and by deeply understanding their unique company challenges and goals.
How do you know if you’re a good fit? You have a track record of over-quota sales achievement and have grown an ambitious pipeline of business due to prospecting, creativity, and simple hard work. You also have experience navigating sophisticated organizations and selling to multiple decision-makers, including the “C Suite” and closing larger enterprise-type deals.
What you'll do
- Prospect, qualify and develop a robust sales pipeline, close complex deals, close high volume of new accounts per quarter.
- Comfortably sell to CXO and navigate other personas within an account, turning them into New Relic champions.
- Collaborate with marketing and solutions consultant team to develop strong value propositions and strategies for landing new customers.
- Keep up to date on industry news and trends impacting your buyers and deliver value to your prospects through information, insights and actions that they cannot find on their own.
- Timely and accurate updating of Salesforce.com customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data to ensure the generation of accurate lead and management reports
This role requires
- 3-5+ years in SaaS or related direct application sales
- Excel in both personal ambition AND collaborative teamwork
- Have excellent communication (interpersonal and presentation) and closing skills, and have successfully applied these in inside sales
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- SalesForce.com and pipeline management experience
Bonus points if you have
- Experience in computer engineering, coding or software development
- A related B.A. degree or equivalent experience
- Experienced with other software business tools, including ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, etc.
- Command of the Message or similar formal sales training.
