Job Summary

The NetApp BlueXP platform team is responsible for building and leading the industry's "best-in-class" management platform. We have a unique opportunity to execute on our "Unified Fabric" within the Product Management team at NetApp. The BlueXP platform team works closely with On-Prem, Cloud File Services, and Data Service product and engineering teams, along with GTM teams such as Solution Architects, Product Marketing, Sales, Partners, and Data Analytics.
As a Senior/Principal Product Manager in the Onboarding, Deployment & Orchestration Platform product team, you will define and evolve our end-to-end vision, strategy, and execution by leading a core team of engineers and designers to build amazing products for our expansive customer base. We’re looking for someone who can partner and collaborate across various internal teams, a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of our customers and cloud technologies, such as Software as a Service, containerization, high availability, and elastic scaling, with a strong understanding of enterprise storage and hybrid cloud IT infrastructure concepts.

Job Requirements

•    Convert the strategy and strategic initiatives into well-developed plans and objectives over different time frames
•    Work cross functionally with NetApp portfolio to understand product & cloud services roadmap and develop core platform roadmap which enables seamless deployment & orchestration
•    Work with the product development team to ensure consistent & seamless onboarding, deployment & orchestration experience of customers across NetApp products , files services & data services.
•    Develop roadmaps and build consensus across different types of stakeholders across the organization
•    Provide help and insight to the product team in developing a compelling product roadmap that’s based on customer needs, strategic opportunities, and overall company resources
•    Work with the data science and finance teams to extrapolate usage & financial metrics needed to measure the success of the product roadmap
•    Work with GTM teams to plan and drive launches, awareness and adoption

Skills
•    Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
•    Experience building enterprise products or services or platforms
•    Strong understanding of cloud services and hybrid cloud uses cases of enterprise customers
•    Strong understanding of cloud technologies such as SaaS, containerization, elastic scaling & high availability
•    Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Customer Support or Marketing.
•    Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
•    Experience evaluating product decisions and prioritization trade-offs, leveraging large datasets to make data-driven product decisions, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and large cross-functional teams
•    Ability to write copy in a clear, structured, concise, data driver manner with technical accuracy

Education

•    A minimum of 12+ years experience in product management or related technical role.  12 to 15 years of experience is preferred. 
•    A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master degree, or a PhD; or equivalent experience is required.
