Job Description:

Team Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of IT professionals, including systems administrators, network engineers, and support staff. Provide guidance, training, and career development opportunities for team members.

Operations Management: Oversee and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud-based systems. Ensure that the IT environment is stable, secure, and optimized to meet business needs.

Incident & Problem Management: Take ownership of major IT incidents and ensure timely resolution in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs). Identify root causes of recurring issues and drive process improvements to minimize future incidents.

System Monitoring & Performance: Implement and manage tools to monitor the health and performance of IT systems and services. Regularly review system performance, address capacity planning, and ensure proactive maintenance and upgrades.

IT Service Management: Oversee ITIL-based processes, including incident, change, and problem management. Ensure that IT services are delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures, and continuously improve service quality.

Security & Compliance: Ensure that the organization's IT infrastructure complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal security policies. Work with the security team to ensure proper security controls, access management, and threat mitigation strategies are in place.

Budget & Resource Management: Manage the IT operations budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Oversee procurement and vendor management for IT hardware, software, and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Ensure that disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested. Lead efforts to maintain and improve business continuity plans, minimizing downtime and ensuring service availability.

Project Management: Lead and support IT operations projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments. Ensure that IT initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with other departments, such as development, security, and business teams, to ensure seamless integration of IT systems and alignment with business goals. Provide regular updates to senior management on IT operations status and issues.

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, or IT service management, with at least [X] years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, storage, databases, and cloud-based technologies.

Strong experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, such as ITIL, and familiarity with IT operations tools (e.g., monitoring, ticketing systems).

Proven track record of managing IT operations teams and optimizing system performance.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and experience with managing IT security protocols.

Experience in vendor management, budgeting, and cost optimization for IT operations.

Strong project management skills, with experience in leading IT projects from planning through execution.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
