You are expected to

Demonstrate Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques.

Routinely exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives.

Develop strategy and set functional policy and direction. Act as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for software applications design and development.

Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams.

Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships for alignment with technology roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into architecture.

Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.

Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups.

Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of software applications design and development innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in software engineering

Must be a bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related fields

Experience in overall architecture of software applications for products

Experience in building solutions from the ground up.

Understanding of Agile principles needed and experience working in tools like ADO or JIRA.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

Strong programming skills, versed in C++ and C#, data structures, parallel computing, and object-oriented design.

Must be able to contribute on code reviews and help developers in troubleshooting/problem solving.

Ideally be a strong coding practitioner as well.

Experience in device-to-cloud  (client/server) applications

Knowledgeable in application security

Knowledgeable on application design and design patterns

Ability to quickly come up with multiple solutions to a problem and evaluate tradeoffs

Knowledgeable on application performance and resource consumption optimization
