We are looking for a Machine Learning (ML) Engineer to help us create artificial intelligence and machine learning instances on our Sales platform that provides solutions to HP support customers.

Machine Learning Engineer responsibilities include creating machine learning models and retraining systems. To do this job successfully, you need exceptional skills in statistics and programming.

Your primary goal will be to shape and build efficient self-learning applications.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing machine learning and deep learning systems
  • Running machine learning tests and experiments
  • Implementing appropriate ML algorithms
  • Study and transform data science prototypes
  • Design machine learning systems
  • Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
  • Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods
  • Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
  • Train and retrain systems when necessary
  • Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
  • Keep abreast of developments in the field requirements
  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
  • Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
  • Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithms
  • Ability to write robust code in Python, Java and R
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries
  • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate issues to technical and non-technical people
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant field, Master’s degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience developing Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) models and solutions for high visibility stakeholders
  • Must have a deep understanding of Python.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Gaining insight from data through applying highly proficient mathematics principles
  • Experience of technical ownership for an AI product/software project, including architecture, estimation, product planning and user story creation
  • Experience with major machine learning frameworks, languages, and frameworks
  • Participation in knowledge sharing activities, within the team, at a wider AI capability level and externally where appropriate
  • Experience in debugging and troubleshooting live applications
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS services
