Position Overview
We are seeking experienced results-oriented Managers/Senior Managers for HP Corporate Strategy. The team is led by Chief Strategy and Incubation officer and a team of seasoned strategy executives, with whom you will have the opportunity to work on high profile initiatives that will shape HP’s future. Growth and innovation are key focus areas for the Corporate Strategy team.

We are looking for highly talented individuals with strong analytic and communications skills, and ability to consistently apply structured approaches to address challenging strategic issues. In this role, you will leverage experience in management consulting or business strategy to deliver data-driven, insightful recommendations to HP’s management team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support pan-HP initiatives spanning growth strategy and operational excellence by directly scoping, initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing strategy projects
- Work directly with key senior executives to manage and participate in both corporate-led and business unit-led project teams
- Apply structured problem solving and data-driven insights to support actionable strategic direction, corporate prioritization, and strategy communications (e.g., senior management, Board, investors)
- Analyze industry trends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance
- Work and lead in a team environment, both within Corporate Strategy and with business unit partners/stakeholders
- Demonstrate influencing skills in a team setting including extended teams where members are often not direct reports
- Intellectual agility and the ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex concepts
- Work collaboratively across organizations to help secure commitment for cross-company efforts
- Build “Executive Ready” project deliverables
Qualifications
- MBA or demonstrable equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years post-MBA experience at a leading strategy consulting firm or in similar roles such as Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy
- Quantifiable results leading business strategy projects at the corporate level
- Demonstrable leadership skills in a team setting where members are not direct reports
- Solid references that can quantify results and leadership abilities within a Fortune 500 company
- Ability to make an immediate impact
- Experience in the Tech industry, including software or hardware is desirable
- Experience in evaluating new markets with track record of driving actionable strategy for growing new businesses
- Superior analytical and financial modeling skills, with ability to succinctly articulate the story for executives
- Demonstrable ability to deliver results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
- Exceptional project management skills
- Superior communication (written/verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills
- Growth mindset, and ambition led; highly collaborative and proactive attitude
