Frontend Engineer (m/w/d)

About this role

The engineering team is being scaled up currently and we are looking for passionate engineers across most disciplines to join us.

After having released our MVP and onboarded our first couple of clients we are looking to expand our product and our offerings with an ambitious roadmap.

There will be things we need to fix, improve and decide upon to make every role highly impactful.

To bring our vision to market, we are looking for a Frontend Engineer (f/d/m) with focus on React to join our development team.

Your responsibilities

• Working closely with our product owner and UX/UI designer as well as other engineers in our cross-functional team
• Ensuring our product is being delivered to the best possible capability while remaining extensible and maintainable, focusing on technical implementation (Architecture, Code Style, SDLC, processes, etc.)
• Striving to understand the requirements, the domain, and the big picture and help to refine specifications as part of the team
• Pairing and mentoring your team and colleagues and continually improving our application, code quality, and processes - when working on new features or refactoring existing code

Who we are looking for

• You have a pragmatic approach to software development (not stuck in buzzwords or trends)
• You have a good understanding of container approaches and workings (Docker) and a basic understanding of CI/CD practices
• You have good knowledge of up-to-date frameworks such as React or Vue and are very familiar with modern web application architecture (OpenAPI, JSON, JWT, and REST APIs) and how communication with the backend works
• You have experience building, using, and maintaining in-house design systems/component libraries
• You have experience with and passion for automated testing (IO, regression, unit, integration, load, etc.)
