What You'll Do:

Our Network Edge team plays a pivotal role by establishing essential connectivity among our data centers and Internet/Cloud providers. We engineer and manage the backbone network that guarantees smooth data transmission, enabling our platform to thrive globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to enhancing the reliability, performance, and optimization of our Network Edge infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity between data centers and the external world.

  • Drive traffic engineering initiatives to optimize network performance and efficiency.

  • Oversee FinOps practices related to connectivity, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising performance.

  • Implement and maintain our internal SD-WAN solution written in Golang, based on Wireguard and BGP EVPN, establishing a distributed, secure, and autonomous mesh for WAN connectivity.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our event-driven automation stack based on Salt and Netbox, written in Python.

  • Develop and implement solutions to harden the security of our infrastructure's edge.

  • Provide expertise in optimizing system reliability, focusing on SRE principles and practices.

  • Promote the adoption of open-source network solutions and actively contribute to the community.

Who You Are:

  • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer with a keen interest in Network Edge connectivity and traffic engineering.

  • Adept in Golang for developing robust and scalable solutions.

  • Demonstrated commitment to ensuring the reliability, automation, and documentation of complex systems.

  • Ownership mindset, proactive initiative, and effective collaboration skills.

  • Adaptability to thrive in an Agile environment with a strong DevOps culture.

  • Strong communication skills in English.
