What You'll Do:

  • Lead a team of 3 to 5 software developers, whom you will guide, oversee and help grow

  • Contribute to promoting a strong engineering culture, passion for quality and things well done

  • Draft and review technical designs for the team’s projects

  • Interact with the Product Management team to clarify requirements and provide guidance for

    building the product roadmap

  • Iterate with the UI/UX team to design interfaces which are easy to use and to understand

  • Lead by example through meaningful technical contributions to your team’s scope, such as

    implementing requirements in a variety of technical stacks*, reviewing the code that your team

    commits, or deploying and monitoring your team’s applications

  • Define and present your team’s technical roadmap, for addressing technical debt, improving the

    codebase maturity, reducing the maintenance effort, etc.

  • Interact with other, multi-cultural R&D teams to ensure the right communication between the

    client-facing applications and the other Criteo systems

​*) For reference, our data visualization solutions are built using React for the front-end, and a mix of Scala and C# for the backend. Our reporting APIs are built using the .NET platform. Both the UIs and the APIs interact with Vertica databases for data retrieval.

Who You Are:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a full-stack developer, and at least 2 years of experience as a technical lead or people manager

  • You have a Software Engineering degree

  • You like both front-end and back-end development and are passionate about data visualization

  • You like reusability and making complex things simple

  • You have experience with developing and extending large and complex systems

  • You are curious about new technologies and like experimenting with them

  • You love sharing your knowledge with others and helping them improve

  • You have experience with Agile methods and enjoy working with others to achieve the team’s

    goals

  • You have great communication and presentation skills (in English)
