What You'll Do:

Criteo internal IT is actively looking for a Senior IT Data Product Owner ready for exploring new frontiers in our Unified Data Platform tribe (UDP).

Within Internal IT, Unified Data Platform tribe’s mission statement stands in one ambition: make Criteo Corporate Core data available on demand, trustworthy and intelligent, serving a wide range of stakeholders, for leaders to meet data-driven decisions and business operators to drive their activities with fresh & accurate insights. This is our Data as a Product (DaaP) initiative that makes this ambition a reality.

DaaP offer obviously aims at providing the best services around our Data Platform, by promoting innovation, disruption, scalability & security to our stakeholders. From data source drilling, piping and staging to datamart shelves providing documented & secured intelligence, we ambition to build best-in class data services leveraging our Azure & Databricks features.

As Senior IT Product Owner, your main missions will be :

  • Develop & execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap to make our DaaP vision a reality, and propose appropriate governance (frequency, content, IIT & business stakeholders) to report on it.

  • Drive alignment and buy-in across the organization for our value proposition, serving as a vocal advocate for our DaaP growth and its strategic importance.

  • Strongly contribute to Identify and prioritize the backlog of Corporate Data Models in line with business priorities, in support with Data stakeholders (architects, data owners, data stewards, Analytics & reporting teams,…)

  • Help enforcing best practices around Data Governance, in line with the Data Governance program.

  • Develop our DaaP Service Offer to industrialize rollouts and standardize our minimum set of services (data model, quality checks, alerting, monitoring, SLAs, security, documentation, lineage…)

  • Define & monitor Key Success Metrics and regularly evaluate the impact of our deliverables on business outcomes, adjusting strategies as needed.

  • Anticipate & Manage dependencies with other IIT Product Owners

  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful sprint completion

  • Keep abreast with Agile best practices and new trends

  • Keep abreast with innovation and technology at the service of Data

You’ll be evolving in a day-to-day technical stack relying on:

Cloud services: compute, network, storage, web, integration, automation

Azure Components: Logic Apps, Azure Function, Service Bus, CosmosDB, Data Factory, API Management, Storage Account, Event Grid, Monitor, Azure Datalake

Data management: Databricks, Azure SQL, SQL Server, PowerBI, Azure Datalake Store, Azure Data Factory, Azure Purview

… within the Criteo IS landscape which comprises of world-class solutions, such as:

  • Applications: PowerBI , Mulesoft, SalesForce, SAP S/4 Hana & ECC, SAP BRIM, Workday, Anaplan, Kyriba, Concur,...

  • Collaboration Tools: Office 365 (OneDrive, Outlook, SharePoint, …), Slack, Zoom, ServiceNow , JIRA, Confluence,...

Who You Are:

  • At least 7+ years of functional and technical experience around Data Management components (ETL, governance, quality, architecture, data modeling,...)

  • Standard Project Management skills to frame time-boxed initiatives and provide visibility on efforts, expected deliverables & arbitration if required.

  • Agile methodology has no secret for you (especially Scrum, Kanban,…)

  • You successfully designed and implemented Data-driven solutions serving business stakeholders, and proficient with different Data layers (ingest, store, process, serve..)

  • Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills, naturally interacting with diverse personalities

  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities

  • Ability to challenge business decisions

  • Fluent in English and experience in working in an international environment (French knowledge will be a plus)
