Ethical principles in tech consulting are only as strong as their enforcement mechanisms. Currently, the industry lacks a uniform standard of accountability when it comes to protecting and promoting women. Many organizations have publicly committed to gender equality but fall short in tracking progress and holding leaders accountable for delivering results. For ethical codes to be truly effective, they must include transparent reporting of gender metrics and consequences for failing to meet equity goals.
