About
Enabling the creation of innovative mobility solutions to improve the way people and goods move through the self-driving technology as part of the Ford Autonomous Vehicle LLC. I am passionate about understanding the nuances of cutting edge vehicle engineering concepts and technologies to redefine the future of mobility, safety and sustainability. I currently lead the development and testing of new features & systems unique to Autonomous Vehicle. Prior to that, I led a global Ford process for the Embedded Software Verification teams and developed state of the art verification strategies for automotive Embedded Systems across all vehicle platforms. Prior to Ford, I worked for major automotive Tier-1 suppliers like Continental , Visteon , Delphi and OEMs.
I consider myself a 'forever student', eager to build on academic foundations in leadership skill and stay in tune with the latest automotive and mobility trends through continued coursework and professional development. My colleagues would describe me as a driven, resourceful individual who maintains a positive, proactive attitude when faced with adversity. I earned a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University, and a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Illinois at Chicago.
I strongly believe women empowerment is key to success in any organization and with my extensive involvement within and outside of Ford, I try to demonstrate a passion for the advocacy and empowerment of women at all ages, levels and backgrounds. In 2020 and 2021 I served as Diversity and Inclusion Director in NextGen ,Co-Chair in Women of Ford and Lunch and Learn Chair in Ford-Society of Women Engineers Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) within Ford Motor Company. My passion for Diversity , Equity & Inclusion and commitment to contribute towards the mission to empower technical women at Ford earned me awards Society of Women Engineers WE Local 2021 Local Integrator Award , Ford Motor Company NextGen Changemaker 2021 Awards - Women of Impact and NextGen Member of the Year. I also serve on the Society of Women Engineers-Detroit (SWE-D) Leadership Team and have held a variety of positions within the Executive Council.
