Session: Resilience Through the Storm: Leading With Courage in Challenging Times
The tech industry is facing growing turbulence - adversities, economic uncertainty, wars, and redundancy waves that understandably heighten stress. Leaders play a vital role in these challenging contexts. Rather than commanding control, we must adjust approaches to support our people.
This talk explores that role.
What specific leadership practices strengthen resilience when facing crisis events? How do we cultivate mindsets and environments where people can cope constructively vs. resist change reactively?
Emerging research reveals empathy, vision, and support systems sustain teams through turbulence. By influencing certain attitudes and behaviours, leaders can empower transformation instead of avoidance.
Join us to discuss proven techniques applied in global tech companies. We’ll cover different leadership styles, stress management, change adoption models, psychological safety, and more. The goal is to equip leaders with an actionable blueprint for nurturing organisational resilience. Even in darkness, we can ignite hope, care and courage.
