Session: Building Inclusive Products
Product managers love to create solutions to solve problems. To deliver the right solution it is important to understand a customer’s pain points. However, implicit biases can sometimes get in the way of building products that are inclusive. This will be fun and interactive talk that addresses a serious topic. We will discuss everything from accessibility standards, artificial intelligence and automation to how data can sometimes lead us down a path of building products that are not inclusive. We will define what it means to build inclusive products but also provide some tactical tools that will help product managers navigate some of their biases to deliver inclusive products.
