Session: The three Ss of emotional resilience - developing BounceBackAbility and building a culture of Change

This talk is designed to dive into the strategies and mindsets that foster resilience and adaptability amidst rapid change. From understanding resistance to change, to nurturing a culture of adaptability, to fostering personal resilience in the face of challenges, we'll cover the full spectrum of navigating through change effectively.
Part 1
Resistance is Futile
How resistance to change is a very strong human driver therefore approaching change with a ‘Spock like’ rationale simply won’t work. You have to understand the psychology and tap into it.
Part 2
The ‘Knowing-Doing Gap’
What does this look like (strategies and mindsets)? The 3 critical elements that enable you to nurture a culture of adaptability:
Part 3
Bouncebackability
To be able to do this you need to maintain personal resilience as a leader (i.e., fostering personal resilience in the face of challenges)
The Good News – ‘You are more resilient than you think’ – what cutting edge research shows us and how we’re misled by social norms and expectations.
-The three Ss of emotional resilience – sleep, self-awareness and social support. Exploring what these look like for you and how to tap into your own unique recipe.

Key Takeaways
