Session: Reopening Countries....Safely

Bio

Entrepreneurs are generally crazy, but that's what innovation is all about, thinking big and making it happen. I've spent 2 years building a team who have made the vision come alive. In 2018 we launched Searchie, an AI powered virtual video platform focused on human insights. helping employers virtually interview anyone without giving up their time This was originally for HR and talent, something which is being accelerated (in the current non face to face interview world). The World Economic Forum selected us as 1 of the top 10 companies shaping the fourth industrial revolution and changing the arab world.

The powers of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is all about being able to live and work in new ways, I think we all now know what that means. The current pandemic made the world stop. I wanted to help out with the COVID-19 crisis so I began speaking to doctors and governments. They all needed help fast. So we repurposed our technology in 14 days and pivoted it for the Medtech industry. Doctors were finding it difficult to deal with the high volumes of patients and had to revert to tech based solutions.

Mediscreen was launched early April and is a virtual video triage, think of Zoom but without the other person. Sarah the nurse interviews and assess you with the help of a human doctor. This has helped doctors, hospitals, governments and employers to assess risk for COVID-19, allowing fast action. It is a critical tool in helping countries reopen safely and enable continuous prescreenings of employees and customers. Phasing back to work helps to mitigate risk and taking correct timely action is essential in reopening safely...if this doesn't happen there will be a more deadly second spike.

The very reason I want to be successful, is so I can help and empower those around us, especially women, special needs and the youth. From my success I want to build sustainable ways of enabling economic equality by creating projects which involve their local villages or towns. I don't want to change 1 life, I want to change millions.
