Building cross-disciplinary solutions to our world's Big Problems is our most urgent, important task. But how does a small group of thoughtful, committed people *actually* make change? Drawing on my experiences launching Tesla's infamous Model 3 program and multiple early stage climate deep-technologies, together we'll look at the patterns. We’ll celebrate systems-thinking and lever-optimization as outsized tools, and we’ll take heart in identifying – in detail – the characteristics of the people and teams who do the impossible.

Raquel’s reputation as a trusted operator, partner and advisor to impact-driven companies — from Tesla to emerging deep-tech startups — stems from her varied experience & prescient systems-thinking.
Known for her collaborative approach, she works with impact-driven leaders by quickly getting to clarity and conviction for outsized action.
Previously, Raquel led Tesla’s mass-market battery validation program and commercialized hard climate technologies with emerging startups, including as the Head of GTM at C16 Biosciences, strategic innovation & revenue consultant at Commonwealth Fusion, and as strategic advisor to Aigen Robotics.
Currently, Raquel runs The Gearworks Group, a boutique advisory for businesses making outsized impact.
