Session: Insights at Mercedes-Benz AG
Company acitivities, career paths for women in the tech area and MB.OS overview.
Bio
Previously stated in Bulgaria and Italy, I moved to Germany at the age of 19 to study Computer Science at the Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg. During this time I did part-time jobbing as a C++ software developer and a web developer. After finishing my Master of Science in Computer Science degree, I was on a crossroad - either to stay with Fraunhofer Institute and proceed with my PhD in Computer Science, or move to the industry. At the same time I got an offer from Mercedes-Benz, which made the choise easier (as Mercedes was always my favourite car :-) ). I had diverse and exciting stations in the IT - from datacenter through cloud and then client architecture, also as a team lead, until I went back to software development in the R&D department. I am currently a team lead of the MB.OS Tuner Software Development team. It consists of 20 highly motivated developers, quality assurance engineers and architect, which I personally selected and am extremely proud of.
