Bias is real and many companies struggle to find, support, and empower women in technology. Women and organizations play a part in how to continue to close the gender equity gap and to forward women in their careers in technology. This session is full of data, storytelling, and advice for everyone to help break the bias in the workplace.

Understand specifics about struggles of women in the workplace
Deep dive into what can organizations and what can individuals do to support an equitable workplace for women in tech
Bio
Nickoria Johnson is an award-winning DE&I expert with over 25 years of experience in leadership, technology and strategy consulting. As a speaker, she provides practical strategies to evoke personal and organizational change and her natural ability to engage audiences through her authenticity on stage and humor allows her to challenge attendees to do something different and to make an impact. Growing up as a young Black woman in STEM, Nickoria has experiences being the "only" in many rooms and spaces and she is passionate about people, leadership, transforming workplace cultures and closing the equity gap in STEM. Her voice has been shared in Forbes and D Magazine, and across many platforms including Oracle’s World Cloud Day, WomenTech Global Conference, sparks&honey’s Culture Briefing, and BlogHer's Inclusive Future Series. As a mentor and coach, Nickoria knows how to inspire others to action and to help people take their careers – and themselves – to unprecedented levels.
Nickoria is a Partner and Global Chief Diversity Officer at Credera, a global boutique technology and management consulting firm. As Chief Diversity Officer, Nickoria is responsible for accelerating the mission of amplifying voices of underrepresented groups and synergizing DE&I efforts toward unified goals for the firm, as well as creating and delivering client-facing solutions that build more inclusive and high-performing teams and cultures. She is a seasoned technology leader with global experience leading large-scale IT strategic transformation efforts, modernizing portfolio management and IT governance processes, and defining and implementing change management initiatives.
