Session: Community building and diverse content needs for sustainable women in tech growth
Nowadays there are plenty of communities dedicated to support and inspire women in tech. Women, who start their career in tech. Women, who have already achieved their goals, but looking for inspiration to get to new level. So why do we need the community? If we can not support and inspire withouth community activities? Community building is the clearest bridge between inspirational examples, real needs, growth and practise. Growth can be achieved only in society, which we build. Than we turn to the next question - how should we build this bridge? With what kind of tools? So this bridge stands, grows and get even wider than before?
In this talk I will share my personal experience in building communities: do`s and don`t`s, which lead to real engagment from audience, as well as different content types for different target audiences, - different content and empowerment needs. Not everyone needs mentorship, also not everyone needs interview with the best of the best. Sometimes tiny local eco-system supporting women is enought to raise hug power and run the world.
