Recently, more and more social impact organizations worldwide embrace chatbot technology to reach more constituents, educate the public and improve their operations. Around the world, chatbots are helping people to apply for financial aid, educate teens about sexual health, and provide information and support in humanitarian settings. Maria is a Forbes 30u30 social entrepreneur and AI technologist, working on the intersection of technology and social impact. She is the founder and CEO of Tangible AI, a company building AI-driven and chatbot solutions for social impact organizations worldwide. Previously, she held a variety of AI research, engineering and management roles in diverse industries, and has led numerous social technology projects in Israel, Asia and Africa. An avid Conversational AI enthusiast, Maria has supported and led the creation of more than 20 chatbot applications across different sectors, and now focuses on making Natural Language Processing and chatbot technology work for nonprofits and social businesses worldwide.
