I had various jobs in my life and I am constantly surprised how many things from my past are useful in a frontend engineer role. Joanna Otmianowska is a frontend engineer currently working at OLX Group, passionate about building user-friendly JavaScript applications that help customers with every day life and work. Initiator of one of the biggest Polish communities gathering over 20k women interested in IT related topics - FB group "Programuj, dziewczyno!". Blogging on wakeupandcode.pl, sharing her knowledge during workshops, online courses and conference talks. Her workshops and talks mostly focus on frontend development basics, building coding portfolio, mastering ways of learning new things and first steps in IT industry. Author of an ebook on how to change career path and become a programmer that was sold in hundreds copies. Mum of amazing 2-year-old boy, wife of passionate programmer.
