Born and raised in China, Hope began her immigrant journey more than two decades ago. Ever since started working as a software engineer, Hope was often the only woman in the room throughout her career. She was a single mother raising 2 young children by herself. Despite all the adversities, Hope was able to strategically navigate the career labyrinth and was promoted as an executive in Tech in one of the largest and most prestigious financial companies. In this session, Hope wants to share her learnings of 20+ years with you so that you can leverage these strategies to clear the path to your next level of promotion.

Hope Yin is an award-winning Tech Executive turned Coach, Speaker, and Advocate for Women in Tech. She is a Professional Executive Leadership Coach, PCC certified by ICF (International Coaching Federation). She is the Founder & Owner of Blueprint Coaching and has coached hundreds of women leaders in STEM to elevate their power, expand their potential, and amplify their legacy. Hope is a Professional Speaker, a member of the National Speakers Association, and has spoken to 10,000+ people. She is a regular presenter in tech conferences, including some of the largest in the world.
Hope was an award-winning senior technology executive in two Fortune 200 companies. She played a key role in enterprise technology modernization and transformation. She co-led the Women in Technology initiative consisting of ~1400 women technologists in Columbus Tech Center to develop female talents.
Hope holds an M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering, an M.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering and an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering.
In her spare time, Hope loves reading, blogging, hiking, running, paddle boarding, skiing, biking, yoga and meditation.
