Session: Fashion’s Big Opportunity with Technology
Between avatars, virtual try-on, AR/VR capabilities and the slow transformation of the digital shopping experience, fashion is at a critical point in it’s development process. With companies unwilling to walk the plank, be bold and try new experiential technology, fashion is stalling on the many ways of the future. I hope to explore the most exciting and cutting edge opportunity in technology, how they pertain to fashion and what we, as women in technology can do to aid its development.

Emily is a Fashion Psychologist with a background in STEM who is currently working in technology. She is fascinated by the intersection between technology and fashion and what advancements are to come in the near future.
