Session: Cultural Barriers Impact Indian Women from Growing in their Career in the US Technology Company
I recently completed my doctorate and my dissertation was focused on the cultural barriers that Indian women are facing. I would love to discuss my research and some of the recommendations I posit in my study for awareness and support. Bio
Divya Rajagopalan is Senior Director for ServiceNow. She is responsible for managing product strategy and vision to grow channel sales partners revenue. Divya is also an avid volunteer as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for foster care children. Her volunteer time aids in helping mentor foster care teens in creating resumes, find employment and plan for further education and career.
Divya is also a strong advocate for Indian women who are actively in pursuit of career growth in the United States. She was recently awarded Women of the Week (WOW) in the Women of The Channel network for her continued support and mentorship for first and second-generation Indian women.
Divya is passionate about empowering fellow Indian women through organizational commitments, training, and community involvement.
