Session: The Coming Transformation of Engagement

“Engagement” is top of mind for leaders in organizations across industries. From customer engagement to employment engagement to partner engagement, student engagement and patient engagement, organizations see the need for better, more predictable engagement as the key to their ongoing success and growth.

Unfortunately, true engagement – in the sense of meaningful interactions between organizations and those they serve that lead to deeper relationships and better outcomes – is increasingly difficult to pull off. The number of engagement channels continues to proliferate. We lack a comprehensive understanding of how people actually use various channels. Predicting the content, offers and messages that will effectively engage people involves a lot of guesswork.

And on top of it all, trust in organizations is at an all time low.

The good news is: All of this is about to change. With the right technical infrastructure, access to relevant data, and innovative applications of AI, we are about to enter an era where organizations can and will engage with people in ways that are relevant, respectful (particularly with regard to data privacy), predictable, and valuable.
