Who you are:
Software engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience in technical roles, especially in back-end and platform infrastructure domains.
Expert with Java and some knowledge of one or more other OOP languages.
Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, or similar MVC frameworks.
Strong working experience with technologies such as Docker and the AWS stack.
Experience with large-scale cloud-based SOA systems, Web/RESTful services, Microservices, and event-driven architecture.
Working experience with Agile and CI/CD development processes.
Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation.
Strong notions of security best practices (e.g., using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.).
Familiarity with database systems and architecture, including one or more MySQL, PostgreSQL, and a non-relational database.
Experience with queuing technologies such as JMS, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ.
Experience in version control, such as Git and Stash.
Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.
Demonstrate excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate lateral thinking skills.
Can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people.
