What You Will Do:

  • Under the direct guidance of the Manager and Advisors within the group, you will assist in project management activities for ongoing and new energy storage projects.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical analysis, technical standards, project design and configuration, vendor supply agreements, EPC agreements, and development of presentations and approvals within Enbridge related to our energy storage projects.
  • Working with Enbridge's senior Power Business Development leaders in the analysis of energy storage standalone opportunities or sited alongside new or existing solar or wind generation projects.
  • Contribute to developing presentations for internal functional groups and senior management regarding the assessment of various opportunities.
  • Performing industry research on topics of interest, including new standards, vendor products and technologies and competitors’ projects, and presenting to the Energy Storage team.
  • Assist in the analysis and preparation of project related budgeting and reporting.

Who You Are:

  • University degree from a nationally recognized undergraduate program or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • New graduate or up to 2 years of experience in battery storage or renewable power generation with an electrical background.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards ULC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC, ANSI/NETA, UN, CSA.
  • Preference for candidates working towards P.Eng. designation.
  • Proven understanding of energy infrastructure and knowledge of project management or risk management considered an asset.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point and SharePoint.
  • Preferred: Working towards or a willingness to work towards PMP designation.
