What You'll Do:

We are looking for a Sr. Technical Solutions Specialist to support our fast growing Retail Media business. Retail media, the placement of brand-sponsored advertising within retailer e-commerce sites and apps, is growing rapidly as shopping increasingly moves toward e-commerce. Now, retailers can drive incremental revenue by providing tools that make it easy for brands and agencies to manage retail media campaigns, while also maintaining control of the shopper experience. Additionally, retailers and brands using the platform can deliver consent-based, personalized advertising without relying on third-party cookies.

As a Sr. Technical Solutions Specialist, you will work with Retail Media commercial team to manage technical integrations and relationships with some of the largest retailers in Japan, and help them monetize their audience, maximize sales, and optimize their customer experience.

  • Become a trusted technical partner and solutions consultant for a portfolio of retailers.

  • Work on retailer’s integration and setup into our system and resolving any technical issue that may impede their use of our platform

  • Oversee/project manage complex integration projects within the team to ensure successful implementation of retailers

  • Quickly respond to any issue, via troubleshooting, mitigation, and both internal and external communications.

  • Identify inventory expansion and business optimization opportunities and partner with Account Strategist and Agency teams to recommend implementation of new ad placements and formats, or rollout of product features to maximize ad coverage and performance.

  • Support technical developments, upgrades, and migrations in line with both internal and external business and technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as technical support, technical account manager, solutions architect or in similar roles.

  • 3+ years of client facing technical consulting experience. Good understanding of internet advertising (cookies, DSP, SSP, RTB, etc.) will be a big plus.

  • Proven record of technical project management skills, in client facing environments.

  • Strong level of autonomy, combined with a curious, proactive mindset.

  • Ability to review and debug code in the following software languages: HTML, JavaScript, SQL.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills, as well as a strong sense of customer service.

  • Full professional working proficiency in Japanese and English, and can smoothly interact with a variety of nationalities

  • Solid analytical, troubleshooting skills and problem-solving capabilities.
