Respond to cyber attacks in real-time

As a Senior Security Incident Responder, you'll engage in customer's network and Cyber Attack-related events. As frontline defense, you will own central alerting system, detecting and assessing the impact of attacks. The role will reside in an environment that is fast-paced with constant involvement in critical attack fighting

As a Senior Security Incident Responder, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing first line response to customer alerts and ensuring internal security teams are alerted
  • Participating in detection of Cyber attacks
  • Using the central alerting and graphing systems to monitor internal infrastructure and customer events
  • Responding to and routing of customer incident tickets to ensure assignment of tasks to internal teams
  • Following workflow procedures of an operations center in a large global environment to ensure effective service delivery
  • Mentoring and coaching the team to share skills and knowledge.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Need to have significant experience in a Customer Support role or similar
  • Need to demonstrate a good, working knowledge of Unix or Linux Operating systems
  • Need a basic understanding of protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP and networking fundamentals
  • Need to demonstrate an ability to analyze, prioritize and escalate customer incidents, engaging with appropriate stakeholders
  • Need to demonstrate excellent verbal & written communication skills and excellent collaboration & team work.
  • Be able to work night shifts - 4 days per week for 10 hours.
