Akamai's Information Security team is responsible for safeguarding Akamai, its customers, and the Internet worldwide. You will have the opportunity to address global security challenges and make the Internet a safer place, powered by the scale of Akamai's platform and influence.

Shape Internet Security

In this role, you will enhance the security of Akamai's products by identifying and helping remediate vulnerabilities. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading security experts on a global team.

As a Senior Manager of threat exposure, you will:

• Leading the Vulnerability Scanning team of architects, security engineers, and data analysts.
• Driving a very high level of vulnerability scanning and attack surface posture..
• Acting as a risk manager to business unit leadership to share the vision and lead the operational requirements to improve the security posture.
• Promoting and developing threat and vulnerability identification, exposure methods, and tooling to improve threat landscape observation.
• Defining processes, tools, and platforms for timely and quality delivery solutions in cooperation with engineering and the business units.
• Managing and growing the team and the contribution of vulnerability scanning and Attack Surface management

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 5+ years of experience building or leading a security architect and engineers in a large environment, preferably on a global scale.
• Have experience with the latest security technologies and knowledge of evolving techniques and procedures, including vulnerability scanners, attack surface solutions, common vulnerabilities' threat modeling at all levels
• Demonstrate the leadership ability to attract, recruit, and retain a diverse workforce of threat architects and engineers professionals
• Possess an empathetic and collaborative leadership style
