Collaborate to deliver the best customer experience

As an Engagement Manager, you will maximize value, retention and growth throughout the customer life-cycle. You will help to build, innovate and evolve customers' media, performance and security strategies. Delivering innovative outcomes for customers through efficient relationships, business acumen, and operational focus.

As an Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Owning program management and advising customer's to ensure they get value from Akamai platforms
• Defining an account strategy, establishing key relationships, and building and maintaining a project pipeline
• Consulting with customer's to achieve their long-term vision and strategy while proving ongoing support
• Collaborating with a cross-functional team to scope, set timelines, create technical solutions, and support the ongoing implementation
• Partnering with sales and pre-sales to educate customers on services and solutions to make recommendations
• Responding to escalations when issues arise and leading operational improvements to mitigate future risks

To be successful in this role you will:

• Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the IT industry
• Have experience in pre-sales or project management or consulting
• Be fluent in Japanese and have at least business English
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to articulate technical information in a clear manner
• Be a great team player with an ability to work independently
