Partner with the best

You will join a team of Core-platform product managers within the Edge & Application Networking. We're defining the vision and roadmap for key areas of the Akamai platform. We're a group of technical product managers that define and prioritize the roadmap of the core services.

As a Product Manager Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Owning the cross-product vision and roadmap for core services and platform features(e.g., performance, scale, reliability, etc.)
• Articulating product vision and strategy to executives, connecting feature delivery to the right capabilities
• Scaling the platform product function at Akamai, evolve the practice
• Partnering with customers, downstream product, marketing, SRE & ProductOps to refine outcomes and drive company strategies
• Capturing industry trend data, customer and community feedback and usage information to develop platform-product insights
• Helping product marketing to develop effective business and market communications that emphasize our unique product value
• Representing Akamai at conferences and other events

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Possess outstanding writing and verbal story-telling skills in English
• Have experience with product management, product development, or equivalent experience
• Be self-motivated & responsible, finding creative ways to solve problems, derive business opportunities from technical ideas
• Show experience with internet-related technologies and with service-based platforms
