Session: Collaborative Leadership: Leading With Our Whole Selves
Being the leader through collaboration, compassion and communication.
Today, women at work have the opportunity to lead in a new way. We will celebrate the strengths we innately bring to work—collaboration, compassion, and communication— as the traits most needed in leadership. How can we harness what comes naturally to us so that we can lead with our whole selves? How can we nurture those we lead as we support the next generation of leaders?

Lauren Hasson is the Founder of DevelopHer and a leading woman on the frontlines of tech herself. By day, she is an accomplished Principal Software Engineer in apps and information security at a leading Silicon Valley payments company. Lauren founded DevelopHer to help fellow women in tech (and men, too!) get ahead, stand out, and advocate for themselves after starting over herself from ground zero just nine years ago. And, because she invested in professional development and learned how to build her value and advocate for herself, Lauren was able to transform from rock bottom into a top, high-profile professional and transform her career in less than two years. Now, she’s really moving the needle to bridge the gender gap in tech and inspiring thousands of women in tech to build their best careers and break their own glass ceilings, too.
