Bio
Amrita Aurora is a Senior Software Engineer at WhatsApp. She has been in the tech industry for the past 8 years bringing in experiences from Oracle and currently Meta.
She has been an avid promoter of Diversity & Inclusion starting many initiatives within WhatsApp to inspire young women with leadership career stories and within Meta to encourage mentorship opportunities.
She is also a part time artist having her art displayed at 10+ coffee shops and multiple galleries in the bay area. She strongly believes in giving back to society through her art and has donated many of her art pieces to various charitable organizations.
During this session, she will discuss the parallels between art and software engineering, exploring how shared challenges in the realms of technology and art can be blended to enhance and showcase the skills necessary for success.
