About The Position

Our Product Manager acts as a business owner and manages long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for a commercialized product. Roles in this family oversee product evolution, establish go-to-market strategy, optimize products and resources, implement incremental improvements within the product’s life cycle, conduct ongoing care and maintenance, and manage P&L.


Role
As a Product Manager, you will:

  • Monitors product performance metrics at all stages of the product life cycle, and makes recommendations regarding solutions to challenges in the portfolio or product strategy
    • Coordinate with customer teams, customers, and other stakeholders to develop product strategies and possible enhancements of existing product offerings 
    • Develop and implement programs and initiatives using the Go-To-Market process in both established and emerging markets 
    • Engage in idea generation, concept validation, business case development, and in some instances financial modeling and planning 
    • Enhance the development and design of product-marketing strategy from product decision through product life cycle 
    • Coordinate the execution of advertising, promotional, and sales programs to meet objectives 

 

All About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive experience in new product development
  • Experience contributing data-driven product adjustment recommendations  
  • Extensive experience working on product launches in multiple markets
  • Must have strong business/market/financial analysis and project management skills
  • Ability to interact and coordinate effectively with internal and external business partners
  • Strong business acumen with ability to provide solutions that drive positive results to the customer and Mastercard
  • Self motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team
