As a key strategic partner to the executive team and people leaders across our global organization, you will collaborate with the Chief People & Diversity Officer to drive cultural transformation and operational excellence. With your expertise in building high-performance cultures and leading critical people initiatives, you will help shape our culture and achieve business success. You will lead the HR Business Partner team employing data-driven, people-centric strategies that align with New Relic’s business goals. Through innovation, influence, execution excellence, and a growth mindset, you will ensure HRBPs are trusted advisors and strategic partners across all functions and regions at New Relic.
This role reports directly to the Chief People & Diversity Officer and is part of our People Leadership team, responsible for redefining the *Relic Way* and enhancing our culture and values to drive success.
What you'll do
- Partner with executive leaders to drive scalable, innovative, and impactful company-wide people initiatives that align with New Relic’s business objectives.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a global HRBP team, providing coaching and growth opportunities to ensure exceptional HR partnership across the organization.
- Design and execute strategies that foster a high-performance culture, drive employee engagement and promote New Relic’s values
- Champion initiatives that cultivate a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, ensuring a respectful and supportive environment for all employees.
- Work with leaders to optimize organizational design, aligning structure and resources to business needs.
- Oversee the development and implementation of HR processes, systems, and policies that support growth, efficiency, and automation, leveraging AI tools for self-service to maximize HRBP impact.
- Provide data-driven insights to influence decision-making, measuring the effectiveness of HR initiatives on business outcomes.
- Ensure HR practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, mitigating risk while promoting a culture of integrity.
This role requires
- 15+ years of experience in human resources, with 5+ years in a leadership role managing HR Business Partners or leading a people team.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguity, be creative, inspire others, mentor and develop teams, own projects from end to end, say please and thank you, respect others, and innovate regularly, always looking to solve challenges and find the best answers.
- A track record of developing and executing people strategies that drive business success.
- Deep knowledge of the technology industry and relevant experience
- Strong communication, influencing, and coaching skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
- Exceptional business acumen and the ability to align people strategies with business outcomes.
- Expertise in using data and analytics to drive large-scale organizational initiatives.
- Ability to travel as needed for key meetings
