The Role

At Kyndryl, we're seeking an exceptional Senior Security Architect to drive our security initiatives and shape our clients' cybersecurity landscapes. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing robust, scalable security solutions for large-scale projects, while also contributing to our managed services offerings.

As a Senior Security Architect, you will leverage your deep expertise in key security domains to design comprehensive security architectures, provide high-level consulting, and help define our managed security services. Your experience with large projects and diverse security technologies will be crucial in delivering innovative solutions that align with our clients' strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enterprise Security Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide security architectures, focusing on Protect strategies, Zero Trust principles, and comprehensive IAM solutions.

2. Large Project Leadership: Spearhead and manage large-scale security projects, overseeing all phases from conception to implementation.

3. Managed Services Definition: Contribute to the development and evolution of Kyndryl's managed security services offerings, ensuring they meet market demands and leverage cutting-edge technologies.

4. Technology Integration: Design the integration of various security technologies, including EDR, SIEM, and DLP solutions, within complex IT environments spanning on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.

5. Zero Trust Architecture: Champion the implementation of Zero Trust principles across client environments, ensuring a robust security posture.

6. IAM Strategy: Develop comprehensive Identity and Access Management strategies, incorporating latest technologies and best practices.

7. Threat Detection and Response: Design advanced threat detection and response architectures, leveraging EDR and other relevant technologies.

8.  Risk Management and Compliance: Conduct risk assessments and ensure architectures meet regulatory requirements across various industries.

9. Client Consultation: Provide expert security consulting to clients, translating complex technical concepts into business value propositions.

10.Innovation Leadership: Stay at the forefront of emerging security technologies and methodologies, driving innovation within Kyndryl and for our clients.


Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience:

·       10+ years of experience in IT security, with at least 5 years in a senior security architect role

·       Proven experience leading large-scale security projects in enterprise environments

·       Deep expertise in Protect strategies, Zero Trust Architecture, IAM, and EDR solutions

·       Extensive experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)

·       Strong background in designing and implementing managed security services

·       Proficiency in security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.)

·       Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

·       Experience with DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines

Expertise:

·       Enterprise Security Architecture design and implementation

·       Zero Trust Architecture principles and implementation

·       Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions

·       Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technologies

·       Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems

·       Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies

·       Network security and segmentation

·       Cloud security and secure cloud architecture

·       Encryption technologies and key management

·       Threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies

·       Managed security services design and implementation

Required Certifications:

·       CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

·       TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) certification or equivalent enterprise architecture certification

Desired Certifications:

·       Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

·       Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

·       Cloud security certification (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty)

·       Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks)
