Job Description Summary
The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will be part of a dynamic, growing team planning and building an endpoint protection capability who deploys, monitors and mitigates issues with cyber security agents on all endpoints. A strong comprehension of endpoint security tools is critical to success. This role will focus primarily on security controls associated with anti-virus, anti-malware, host-based firewalls, vulnerability scanning agents on all endpoint platforms.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible to:

Design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions, including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Ensure that endpoint security systems are configured and maintained in accordance with security best practices and industry standards.

Collaborate with network and systems administrators to ensure that endpoint security solutions are integrated into the organization’s overall security posture.

Develop and implement security policies, standards and procedures for end-users.

Provide training and support to end-users on how to use endpoint security solutions effectively.

Respond to security incidents and participate in incident response efforts as required.

Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and developments and maintain a high level of technical expertise in the field of endpoint security.

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly and concisely report endpoint protection metrics.
Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college in computer science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with 5+ years of professional experience in information technology.

5+ years of experience installing and maintaining endpoint protection solutions.

Must be willing to work in a 24/7/365 environment.
