Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Technical Program Manager II. Plan, communicate, execute, and deliver major technical programs, products, and solutions that will deploy on Akamai’s network for top media and entertainment sites; Manage complex technical programs that require collaboration among multiple, cross-functional groups; Collaborate with cross-functional groups to understand requirements, schedules, and program risks; Document, track, communicate programs, project statuses, actions, required decisions, and risk areas; Identify areas for process improvement, architecting and proposing solutions, and implementing the change(s) management required; Apply program management experience with process methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, Scrum, or Waterfall; and Develop successful partnerships with engineering and program stakeholders across the organization. Required Qualification:

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.

Must have: Two (2) years of experience in the following: Technical project management, risk management, infrastructure engineering and operations, change management, cloud infrastructure, release management, and dependency management.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $102973 - $154614/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
