In my experience, having a diverse team that includes women and people from diverse backgrounds always leads to better outcomes. Their involvement is crucial to ensure various perspectives are included in the decision-making process, it's especially important when we are training AI models that could suffer from bias and unfairness stemming from the data that's being collected.
