On the surface, flexible leave policies appear to be a significant step toward achieving work-life balance for women in tech. However, the effectiveness of these policies often depends on how they are perceived and utilized within the organization. If employees feel penalized or judged for taking advantage of such policies, their benefits are severely compromised, making work-life balance an unattainable ideal rather than a reality.
