Allyship requires understanding the challenges that women face in tech, including systemic sexism and unconscious bias. Men in tech can take the initiative to educate themselves on these issues, through reading, attending workshops, and listening to the experiences of their female colleagues. An informed ally is much more effective in advocating for change.
