Despite growing awareness and numerous initiatives aimed at gender diversity in the tech industry, the representation of women, particularly in advisory roles, still falls short of parity. Efforts such as mentoring programs, diversity recruitment strategies, and women-in-tech conferences contribute positively. However, systemic barriers, leadership pipelines that lack diversity, and unconscious bias continue to hinder progress. To truly promote women in tech advisory roles, concerted efforts that address these systemic issues at their root are required.
