I have been curious about why I haven’t met as many as women as men in the field of technology. In my retrospection, it is due to the fact of how technology is taught to be perceived by women. I want to be a part of this community not only because of the radical cause it is behind but also to meet with fellow women in tech and for once feel a bit less left out. I have been marvelled by technology and I wish as many women who could be potentially interested in technology could see it too. I wish for more women, including myself to walk into a room and put forth an idea untouched by patriarchy. |
