⚡️ Save the date: Women in Tech Global Conference 2023 will take place on May 9-12!

Are you excited to speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference and what motivated you to join our community of 100 000 women in tech, minorities, and allies?

I am thrilled to be a speaker at the Women in Tech Global Conference. My eagerness stems from my ardent desire to witness women excel. Women often face obstacles in accessing equal opportunities to succeed in business, and I believe that by collaborating, supporting, and providing opportunities for each other, we can all triumph together

Share with us about your background, your journey in tech, and what inspired you to develop your career in this direction.

Over my extensive career in finance, I have supported tech organizations of various sizes, ranging from small startups to larger corporations. I find joy in collaborating with small tech companies, aiding them in navigating their day-to-day challenges, primarily caused by limited resources. The ever-evolving tech industry can be overwhelming, with the need to stay up to date with the latest technologies, manage organizational operations, and raise funds, but I am passionate about working alongside these businesses to strategize and optimize their limited resource allocation, leading to successful outcomes.

Why is the topic “Overcoming the Funding Gap: How women in tech can win funding battles” important to you?

Historically, women in the tech industry have faced significant barriers to securing business funding. Despite progress in recent years, there is still a significant funding gap between male and female-led startups. This gap is due to various factors, including gender bias in the investment process, limited access to networks and resources, and a lack of representation and visibility for women in tech.

By bringing attention to this issue and discussing strategies to combat it, we can help move the needle and ensure that all talented and innovative individuals have equal opportunities to bring their ideas to fruition.

Who would you advise to attend the Women in Tech Global Conference and why?

The Women in Tech Global Conference provides an opportunity to learn about the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in the tech industry while exploring the unique challenges and opportunities women face in this field. I would advise any woman in the tech space to attend the conference and hear from experts on ways to build valuable connections, gain new insights and perspectives, and also be inspired by the stories and experiences of successful women leaders in tech
