Session: Leading Through Tumultuous Times
Everyone in the workforce has experienced a career setback at some point in their lives. As a journalist and author, I've interviewed hundreds of founders, leaders and politicians. Throughout all their stories, it always seems that the most pivotal point of their journey comes when they emerge from a setback. There’s actually a framework to navigating setbacks and leading through tough times. It’s called The Setback Cycle, and it’s the premise of my forthcoming book coming out in March 2024.
I’ll host a fireside chat with executive coach and Your New Life Blend podcast Shoshanna Hecht to share their most brutally honest setback stories and how they worked through them to arrive at their greatest triumph yet. I'll also introduce the new framework I've arrived at via my work on The Setback Cycle, with the help of executive coaches like Shoshanna, psychologists, neuroscientists, and more. The Women in Tech Global Conference attendees will walk away with the confidence to navigate their setbacks and pivot to new, innovative and ultimately successful ventures.
